Food: The Real Reason We’re All Here

Let’s face it—life pretty much revolves around food. We plan our days around meals, celebrate with cake, and somehow always have room for dessert (because dessert goes to a different stomach, obviously). Nothing brings people together quite like food—unless it’s the last slice of pizza, in which case, it’s every person for themselves. But why is food so dramatic? One minute, an avocado is perfectly ripe, and the next, it’s a sad, brown mush. Pancakes? They only respect you on the first flip—after that, it’s chaos. And let’s not forget the emotional rollercoaster of deciding what to eat. You want something healthy, but also something cheesy, and maybe a little fried—because balance, right? At the end of the day, food is more than just fuel—it’s a daily adventure. Whether you’re cooking a five-course meal or just eating cereal for dinner (again), food is there to comfort, entertain, and occasionally betray you. And honestly, if loving snacks is wrong, who really wants to be right?
